We also provide standby for events; high school football games, rodeos, ATV races, concerts, festivals and more.
We pay $22.50 an hour to start for Paramedics and $17.00 an hour for EMTs. We run a 48/96 schedule in three shifts, which means a FT employee will work 2 days out of every six. Obviously, there's some built-in overtime; the annual pay for a new FT Paramedic will be around $76,000 a year, give or take a bit depending on how the holidays fall on a person's schedule. Annual pay for a new FT EMT works out around $57,000 a year.
